On September 24, 2015, Professor Andrzej Kaplon and five students from Kielce University of Technology in Poland arrrived in Tucson, AZ to shadow Dr. Rozenblit and his students in the Model Based Design Laboratory. They are also working on their own to complete the Honors theses. They plan to explore the beautiful Southwest and learn as much as they can about the University of Arizona.
On Tuesday November 12th 2013 Visiting Scholar Dr. Zenon Chaczcho gave a presentation on “Bio-Inspired Modeling of Automatic Monitoring and Control for IoT Systems.” Dr. Zenon discussed the issues and challenges related to the modeling, design and implementation of large scale Internet of Things based smart systems.
Dr. Jerzy Rozenblit's is program chair for the 2013 Elecrical and Computer Based Sytems Conference hosted from the 22nd of April to the 24th of April. Professor Rozenblit will also be presenting "Implementation of computer-guided navigation in surgical training" on Tuesday April 23 at 2:30-3:00 in the SkySong Global Room 201.
Dr. Jerzy Rozenblit's was asked to present his work with the Computer-Assisted Minimially Invasive Surgery at the TED(Technology, Entertainment, Design)x conference tuesday.
